About the Author

Alise Anna Reese, Ph.D. spent her career teaching in elementary schools and as a seamstress for the television industry, but she is most proud of her research as an animal scientist to improve agricultural practices in developing countries, where she assisted in paving the way for self-sufficiency in food production. She is now retired and happily living and writing in Columbia, Missouri.
